My Camino Route in 2023
This year (2023), I will be walking my tenth Camino in thirteen years. This time I plan to walk the Camino Sanabres from Zamora to Lalin, the the Camino Invierno from Ponferrada to Santiago. The route is shown with the red line on the map.

Campobecceros 22 September 2023

 I decided to take it a little easier today with a walk of twelve miles to Campobecceros, another small village along the way.

I wish my pumpkins did this well

Walking mostly on the ridge line, reservoir below 
Native slate. Many buildings here are roofed or sided with slate

I would rather walk this road than drive it without a guardrail 
Nice to finally see your destination, Campobecceros 

Good ensalada mixta for midday meal

    Nice little town Campobecerros, the albergue is great.
    I like your pictures, them shows exactly how is the Camino. Tomorrow the next stage will be Laza with 15 km with 4 points of dificulty. You are getting closer todo Ourense. And nos you are crossing the mountain range.
