My Camino Route in 2023
This year (2023), I will be walking my tenth Camino in thirteen years. This time I plan to walk the Camino Sanabres from Zamora to Lalin, the the Camino Invierno from Ponferrada to Santiago. The route is shown with the red line on the map.

Route Maps

So those of you following the blogs can see just where we are going, here are some maps. The map above is that of Spain and Portugal. The area we will walk is in the upper left area of the map

In this enlarged view, the Camino Portugues is shown in purple dots, our route being from Porto to Santiago, about 10 or 11 days. The next stage will be the Camino Finisterra, from Santiago to Muxia and on to Finisterra, 4 days. The final stage, time permitting, will be from Ferrol (5 days) or A Coruna (3 days) back to Santiago.

  1. Great Post. Think the camino's have most to do with the ancient movement of metals (probably North to South) than modern religion. They pass too close to the three key mines, Rio Tinto, Las Madulas & Murgian. In non surf seasons the metals would move by sea.

  2. thanks for this map. I have wondered about some of the caminos and this is a great start. I tried to sign up for your blog, but it automatically puts in an old Google email for me.
