About ten miles today to A Ponte a good halfway point between Quiroga and Monforte de Lemos. A highly recommended pension out in the middle of nowhere but they also had a good midday meal, important on a Sunday when not much else would be open. The walk today was almost all steep up or down over the mountains to the Rio Lor valley.
The landscape and the environment begin to change, it is seen that there are not many pilgrims on this path, at this point it is no longer known which is easier or more difficult, uphill or downhill, BUEN CAMINO.
