It was a 15 mile walk to A Gudina, but very difficult. It was raining when I woke so I delayed the start until 8 am when it was starting to get light. The first six miles were an elevation gain of 1200 feet in wet, muddy, rainy conditions. After that mostly clear until a bit more rain. The Camino path entered the province of Galicia right after the upgrade with still a lot of rocky trails. The albergue here in A Gudina is the biggest yet and very nice- it is one operated by the government of Galicia.
